Our Challenge:
We are looking for a Lead BI Developer with extensive experience in designing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage tools such as SQL Server, Power BI, SSAS, and Power Apps to develop interactive dashboards and analytics models that drive financial forecasting and budgeting. This role requires a robust understanding of BI solution lifecycle management, data integration, and analytics to support business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Power BI Development:
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI for forecasting, budgeting, and financial analytics.
- Utilize SSAS cubes within Power BI for advanced multi-dimensional data analysis.
- Create complex DAX measures, KPIs, and calculated columns to support business requirements.
- Optimize Power BI models for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Power Apps Development:
- Design and build custom Power Apps to automate and streamline data collection processes.
- Integrate Power Apps with external data sources (e.g., SQL Server, SharePoint) and backend systems.
- Support the design and development of both canvas and model-driven Power Apps for various business functions.
- Workflow Automation:
- Create and manage automated workflows using Power Automate for data integration and movement across systems.
- Ensure seamless integration between Power Apps, Power BI, and other systems like SQL Server, SharePoint, and external APIs.
- Data Transformation and Integration:
- Utilize Power Query to transform, cleanse, and load data from multiple sources into Power BI and Power Apps.
- Integrate data from various sources (e.g., SQL, Excel, SharePoint) into a centralized reporting platform.
- Financial Modeling:
- Develop and optimize financial forecasting and budgeting models within Power BI using time-based calculations.
- Manage the full BI solution lifecycle, including data collection, preparation, storage, analysis, and reporting.
- ETL Process Management:
- Establish and maintain efficient ETL processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand financial data requirements and create custom analytics solutions.
Requirements:
You are:
- An expert with strong experience in SQL Server, SSAS, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Proficient in Power Query, BI Reporting, and Analytics Models, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Skilled in building and optimizing cubes and managing the BI solution lifecycle.
- Experienced in SSIS for ETL processes and data integration.
It would be great if you also had:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse & Copilot.
